One of DC's Finest Up and Comer's!

Born and raised in New York's upper west side, this lyricist love for Hip-Hop music and culture developed quite early.

The youngest of six siblings Karim was exposed to all genres of music at home such as Gospel,Blues,,Jazz,R&B,Classical,Country and yes yes yall Hip-Hop.Writing his first rhyme at the age of eleven Karim was further inspired by the albums his older brother, Tee brought home, such as Criminal Minded by Boogie Down Productions, It Takes a Nation of Millions..by Public Enemy,Long live The Kane by Big Daddy Kane and Paid In Full By Eric B. and Rakim just to name a few.

Karim and his family relocated to the Washington D.C. area in the summer of 1993 where quietly the young mc honed his writing and mc skills over the next thirteen years. He cut a living room demo entitled Street talkin Volume One..The EP in the summer of 2003,passing it out to close friends and coworkers. The positive response he received about the seven song demo inspired him to write more fresh material.Karim continued to actively write and record, and he would test his metal now and again at some of the open mic spots around D.C. In the fall of 2005 five he began to record his album aptly titled Street Talkin Volume One, at Urban Intallect Studios in NW Washington D.C. .

Street Talkin Volume One..The Album!

Street Talkin Volume One is a true Hip-hop album dope beats dope rhymes and whole lot of wit and attitude, from the witty word play on the first single "Hey Girl" to ferocious braggadocio rhymes and driving bass line on "Clear" to the motivating chorus on "Move" This album should go down in history as a classic. "i truly hope that people enjoyed listening to this album as much as i enjoyed making it, much love and success to all the other artist out there"..
