6 Key's

Finally,

There has been a few issues with Internet/work/roommates/love/friends, but I am able to squeeze this one in...

Thursday night provided adventure, and a lot of what I had dreamt for at an age where I thought a night like that one would say I've made it. Bot that it wasn't a great night, but I think as I've grown, so have my ambitions. After work it went from foreign accents, to beer pong board meetings/creative directors, to distinguished and rising producers, and lets not forget beat makers, COO's, Spanish teachers, strangers telling me to whisper from across Midtown roof tops while they convince their better half's its a low key night, jazzy music, business cards, wild pitches about dungeon reality shows, and free lime/rum/cola combo's....

It was a party, a professionals ball...

Sent me home smiling, in a cab with an old friend to eventually end up rocking out with mirror shades to phoenix, and 3 inches of blood on the way home on the L train. Best part about it was I was invited.

What's big about Thursday night, was Friday morning.

Ron Brodie loves lucid dreaming...
So fallowing a T-mobile conversation that erased my contacts in my phone book, and a "speed date" party, I'm in Jersey...

I know my Aunt's house from the second we take the right into the neighborhood and see that drive way. Gravel paved, packed with SUV's (old range rovers, the kind you see on a safari in Africa) and my dad's old/my old truck "Ice" parked in the lot lined by a concrete wall steps at both ends, and an old basket hoop in the back corner of what seems to the resemble the scooping end of a child's square sand shovel. I was there already, and we were packing up for the beach.

The back of the identical SUV's open, and hampers with beach towels packed the tight trunk space. All the kids were already board of sitting strapped to the back seat rows, as the older folks aided in packing the remainder of snacks and their bodies.

We ended up at a gas station a few miles down the road. for some reason I never remembered being in the car, but I had told the caravan that I needed to pee at the bathroom back home before we continues on our family funned out trip...

Over my shoulder while I filled my Aunt in on the situation I herd Don shout.

Damn Ron, your always late.. You always forget something.. Your always holding us up...
I pay little attention as my Cousin Bully vaulters to scoops me back to HQ in his Civic; everyone else would continue on...

When back at the home, Bully and I walked to the front door. He mentioned that the key for the door was under the mat that had "WELCOME" in bold black letters made from some sort of thick yarn. We piked up the mat, and discovered 6 sets of keys spaced equally apart and without labels.

By this time I really had to pee, and Bully began trying the separate bunches. Time must have passed, but once he found the one to open we entered and I ran strait into the bathroom.

Relieved, I walked back to the living room and waited for my cousin. Across the small common area I noticed cats. They soon surrounded me; were talking a bunch of cats... They were all meowing, and it seemed as though they all wanted different things. Two row's of cats back, I noticed a cat that resembled Fedel, I was so convinced I stepped over to check him out..

Fedel? Is that you?

I leaned in and suddenly we were eye to eye. He looked like Fedel, same Siamese with shaggy fir and blue eyes. He did not move; I asked more questions, and he still did not move. In his eyes I could tell it was my cat (a wild father son/best friend bond is creative when you've owned an animal like Fedel as long as have). Upon further investigations, I noticed this cat had a goofy jaw and a mole on his left cheek.

Your not Fedel..

I then woke u from this dream, 3 min away from being late to work.. I guess this is the point where I tell you my philosophy about FRESH socks...

Ask about it!

Bottom line is, I think there is meaning in this dream. After speaking to some friends tonight about unrelated subjects, I thought about a film.

Some really don't consider me a film maker because they are waiting to see what I plan on doing with this dream.

I hope to one day show you...
