Liz YouTube support:
"Hi everyone,
Recently we have seen questions about why some YouTube video view counts "freeze" around 300 views. To help prevent confusion, we wanted to post a quick explanation of what's going on. View counts are extremely important to our community, so we work hard to ensure those viewcounts are accurate. Occasionally, when a video becomes popular quickly, it takes our computers longer to make sure those views are accurate. This means a video's view count may not update for several hours, sometimes allowing ratings and comments on the same video to climb temporarily higher than the views. So if you see your video views aren't moving, or that your video's comments and ratings are moving faster than your views, don't worry. If you're still getting views, the count should update soon. This video's counter seems to be working just fine:
Hope this info's helpful,
~ Liz"

"This is highly discouraging! To work for months, post, and freeze... Not a good deal, especially when your independent. after 2 days we had a huge response, probably one of the largest responses since being a member for over 4 years. Do we need to check in here? My video is frozen; in fact I'm under the impression that this effects the count on all of my video's.Its not all about gloating rights, or even being obsessed with the numbers, but dont we remember the Payola scams form the 1980's? Damn, I guess history really does repeat it's self.. Read all about the frustration HERE.
So is this where I come to beg for my service back?
